ABOUT
Positive Mathematics for Indigenous Students
The conference aims to bring together a community of mathematics teachers across all sectors to help "Close the Gap".

The Friday conference will include:

Keynote speakers: Professor Robyn Jorgensen; Emeritus Professor Philip Clarkson.

Presentations: Differentiating with technology; STEM; language and mathematics .

Workshops: Hands on application of Australian Curriculum content.

The Thursday evening includes:

Networking dinner.

Cultural event.

The intention is to nurture improvement for the long term to support:

Increased school attendance rates.
-
Achieve literacy and numeracy targets.
-
Increase high school completion rates.
-
Increased employment rates and retention.
